The LLMO specification defines the format, discovery mechanism, trust model, and conformance levels for llmo.json, a signed, machine-readable artifact organizations publish at a well-known location on their primary domain. The specification is versioned. The current version is v0.1, published 2026-04-17. As subsequent versions are published, prior versions remain reachable at /spec/vX.Y paths; older documents are preserved as-is for implementations that depend on them. The specification is the authoritative source for the protocol. Where any page on this site appears to differ from the spec, the spec is correct and the page should be corrected.
